Opticians enthusiastic about ExpoCecop 2012
A meeting of members and the occasion for unveiling the new developments on which the Group is working
The weekend of September 16 and 17, when CECOP members met in Naples for the Group's convention, was described by guests as "one to remember". ExpoCecop 2012 provided the occasion for unveiling the revolutionary new service the Group is working on to help opticians identify their positioning, handle purchases with expertise and make the best use of the opportunities offered by the Group.
All of which was enthusiastically welcomed by members who were looking forward to access the new service. There was also considerable interest and participation in the course titled "Social Network: facebook for the optical outlet", which dispelled prejudices and clichés regarding communication in social media and described facebook's potential as a tool for improving customer relations.
As always, ExpoCecop also meant relaxation, discovery and entertainment. As guests of the prestigious Royal Continental Hotel located on the Naples seafront, the 250 participants were able to breathe in the atmosphere of nautical Naples and then take a dip in a more part of the city by visiting the highly evocative and mysterious Catacombs of San Gennaro. From the sacred to the profane for the final event on Sunday evening at Villa Vittoria, the magnificent hillside residence at Posillipo, whose rooms, garden and wonderful terrace overlooking the Gulf provided the perfect backdrop for the CECOP evening under Neapolitan skies.
