In a spirit of euphoria that comes with the arrival of summer, Adidas Eyewear is pleased to invite the world's artists and designers to personalize a pair of Originals sunglasses that will enter production in 2013. For fans, enthusiasts and professionals it is an incredible opportunity to create something unique, contemporary, but with nostalgic vintage charm!
Talenthouse, an innovative social engagement platform, will host and support this challenge on the Adidas Eyewear Facebook page (www.facebook.com/adidaseyewear) to find – and award – artists by means of a pioneering campaign. Talenthouse has become an online community of the most influential artists who bring together the talents and industries that symbolize a variety of sectors to foster web conversations and campaigns. In just two years, Talenthouse has developed over 200 creative campaigns that have enabled artists and registered guests to witness the exponential growth of their public.
The frame at the center of this special creative challenge is called Santiago and is part of the Adidas Originals Eyewear collection. Santiago features discreet prints that give the sunglasses a Seventies look and feel. Absolutely the only one of its kind, the bridge is inspired by the shape of a keyhole, which accentuates the frame and makes it totally contemporary.
Competition entries must be presented on the Adidas Eyewear Facebook page and they must be original! After the public has voted and the panel of experts has given its opinion, the Adidas Eyewear design team will choose the 3 models that best represent the originality of Adidas Eyewear. The winners will have the chance to work alongside the team and collaborate on defining the details of their models prior to production.
The winners will also receive a digital copy of the final version of their model, which will be published on the Adidas Eyewear website and in social media, and a cash prize of € 2,000.
