Didier Mader: "Our 2013? Broad and slim frames"

"Faithful to the chic and trendy characteristics of Emmanuelle, that make our brand so renowned, our new 2013 eyewear collection includes broad, slim frames in square or round shapes for men and women". This was how Didier Mader summed up the new Emmanuelle Khanh products presented at this year's Mido.

 

Nonetheless, Didier Mader is also looking at future trends, where specialization will play a key role.
"Our century – he said – is based on expertise and specialization. Customers look for something that will make them stand out but at the same time they want to be part of a community. In the future, our high end eyewear collection will be designed to meet the needs of all these small groups that represent different targets. This aspect will be one of the main problems luxury eyewear will have to tackle in the years to come".

 

Emmanuelle Khanh is a Parisian brand. How can it be described in one word?
"How can you describe a brand with just one word? Let's say chic, trendy and top quality, with a touch of quirkiness for anyone who likes to stand out".

 

After Mido, is the French company scheduled to take part in other appointments in the sector?: "Yes, we will be taking part in the main events in the eyewear universe throughout the world (Silmo, East Vision New York, IOFT Japan) and also in the Paris Fashion Week . Perhaps, we will soon be in Milan or New York City" – Mader concluded.
