Luca Gnecchi Ruscone: "new sand colors and mirrored lenses"
With summer on the doorstep, four out of the five new products presented by LGR at Mido 2012 were sunglasses. "We added very light sand colors with mirrored lenses that are very glitzy but also full of substance and quality. They are polarized with neofam treatment that gives them an edge", as Luca Gnecchi Ruscone, founder of the Roman brand, explained in an interview with MidoTV during the Milan fair.
As it is a young company, LGR was not particularly affected by the recent crisis: "we have been on the market since 2008 and we have done very well from year to year".
Luca Gnecchi Ruscone was positive about Mido's new Sunday, Monday and Tuesday formula: "a perfect formula because fair participants must be opticians and buyers. Stores are closed on Sundays and Mondays so they have time to come and see what we're exhibiting".
