Upcoming capsule collection by Karl Lagerfeld & Italia Independent

Marchon, the market leader of the eyewear sector and KARL LAGERFELD eyewear licensee since 2008, and Italia Independent Group have announced the launch of a capsule collection by KARL LAGERFELD and ITALIA INDEPENDENT. The partnership is part of a two-year contract that will come into effect October 2013."We are excited about our participation in such an innovative collaboration" stated Marchon CEO Claudio Gottardi.

The capsule collection includes vision frames and sunglasses for men and women. By combining the famous designer's eclectic style and the aesthetic perception of ITALIA INDEPENDENT, this collection will be both sophisticated and innovative.
The capsule collection will consist of 3 sunglasses (1 for women, 1 for men, 1 unisex) and 3 vision frames (1 for women, 1 for men, 1 unisex). The launch is expected in October.
Italia Independent Group will handle the Italian market and Marchon will take care of the international distribution of the collection.
The capsule collection will be identified by a specific logo that mirrors the combination of the two creative companies.
Talking about the partnership and the new capsule collection, Karl Lagerfeld said: "I love velvet gloves on iron hands and velvet eyewear ... on eyes of steel".
