Immagine 98: direct distribution in Germany and Switzerland from January 2013

The advantages are a more immediate perception of the market, faster response to customer requests and more efficient stock management

On January 1, 2013, Immagine 98, a company specializing in frames that combine artisan tradition, stylistic research and innovative design, began direct distribution in Germany and Switzerland.

Already with direct operations in Italy and France, the company's new commercial project is part of an expansion plan aimed at strengthening sales of the X-Ide and Rye&Lye lines in markets that are particularly strategic for the eyewear business and interesting for the development of the two collections.

"Until December 31, 2012" – said Immagine 98 commercial manager Susi Tabacchi - "we operated in the German market in collaboration with BBM Brillenfaszination, an extremely competent and professional partner. But we realized that we had to improve our presence in Germany and Switzerland so we decided to take this important step. Direct distribution gives a more immediate perception of the market, enables us to respond more quickly to customer requests and have more efficient stock management. The X-Ide and Rye&Lye collections have always been distinguished by details that are in line with the latest trends: now they will be able to interpret style trends more quickly and efficiently, but without changing their original essence".

There are 6 agents in the territory - 5 in Germany and 1 in Switzerland. Eye care specialists have a dedicated, toll-free number (0 800 18 11 934) which they can call for assistance in the relevant language. There is also a warehouse in Germany for returned items and spare parts, which will guarantee even faster and more efficient aftersales service.
