De Rigo Vision and Loewe continue along the same path s

Renewed license for the design, manufacture and distribution of the brand's vision and sun eyewear collection

De Rigo Vision and Loewe - the Spanish company that is part of the LVMH Group and internationally renowned for its luxury leather goods – have announced the renewal of the license agreement for the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of the vision and sun collections with the Loewe label.

The collaboration between the two companies has been successful since 2000 and the renewal of the partnership consolidates this flourishing relationship.

Michele Aracri, CEO of De Rigo Vision SpA, stated: "We are very proud about continuing our professional relationship with a brand as prestigious as Loewe, a synonym for craftsmanship, luxury and high-end style. We are also excited about starting new eyewear projects under the creative guidance of Jonathan Anderson".

Loewe CEO Lisa Montague commented: "This is an exciting new chapter for Loewe thanks to Jonathan Anderson's creative flair and stylistic direction. We look forward to fully expressing this potential in the Loewe Eyewear collection with our prestigious partner De Rigo Vision and through its global distribution platform".

Last September, the LVMH Group offered young and talented British designer Jonathan Anderson the role of creative director with the aim of enhancing the historical heritage of the Spanish leather goods company. His creative touch will be seen in the next Loewe eyewear collections which will reflect the brand's new essence.

De Rigo will continue to invest in product innovation and its short-term objectives for Loewe Eyewear include the expansion and development of the collection's male segment. A preview of the new models will be presented in June at the Loewe fashion show during men's fashion week in Paris.

Loewe eyewear collections are distributed through the De Rigo Vision sales network - which includes the world's most prestigious optical and department stores - and to Loewe boutiques. Europe is confirmed as the main historical market for Loewe Eyewear but the brand is being distributed with increasing success throughout the world and especially in Asia Pacific and Japan.
