Sisley presents new products at Mido 2012

The new collection has a proper balance between a taste for great classics and attention to an urban style

The new Sisley collection is two sides of the same coin: a taste for great classics on one side and attention to an urban style on the other. The result is an unmistakable style for eyewear with an independent and immediately recognizable character.

The Smart Glam family is composed of models that are obviously inspired by the 1980s. Soft, feminine shapes are enriched with details – like metal tags with the logo in italics and geometrical rows of rhinestones – that give the eyewear great dynamism (SY 226).

The protagonists of Heritage are the high geometrical temples embellished with a metal detail with the logo in high-relief. For men, there are three acetate models with squared-off lines inherited from the past (SY 222, SY 223 and SY 231).

With its linear and clean lines, Design eyewear features a play of high- and low-relief that emphasizes the logo. Other contrasts include matte colors combined with glossy hues and the use of different materials (SY 232).

Classic and modern styles come together again in Aviator models SY 588 and SY 592. The former features ultra-slim steel lines to emphasize its lightness; the latter has a more traditional shape with parts in metal and plastic.

Completing the collection is Vintage Glam that includes generous, rounded eyewear SY 589 enhanced with a metal logo tag on the high, curved temples.
