Happiness eyewear is here

After the success of the t-shirt, debuting in the world of eyewear was inevitable for the brand with a contemporary and sensational style

Optimistic was set up at the beginning of 2012 by young and successful professionals in the sector: Alex Montanaro (24), eye care professional and an enthusiastic hunter of what's cool in the fashion eyewear world, Andrea Bratti (29), eye care professional and fashion designer, and Emanuele Minghini (53), businessman and retailer in the sector.

 

Optimistic conceives, designs and creates eyewear with total passion and dedication, an enthusiastic daily commitment based, as the name suggests, on a positive approach to work and business.

 

The aim is to create, make and distribute prestigious eyewear of refined, contemporary design, the outcome of research and maximum quality, with the awareness that the fundamental premise is to experience eyewear as an indispensable accessory for vision wellbeing. This is why its manufacturing partners are all leaders in their respective sectors, from German lenses to the key players in the high end of the world market, to Italian and international manufacturers.

 

Optmistic's origins are linked to the development of its first collection, Happiness Shades, under license from "Happiness", a highly popular Italian brand that is increasingly admired for its contemporary style and frequently sensational communication.

 

The first collections of Happiness Shades, Be Basic and Be Queen, were presented in June 2012 at Pitti Immagine Uomo, the men's fashion event in Florence. Its undoubted success with the critics was confirmed by being recognized as the best product at the event by readers of Gazzetta dello Sport.

 

These first Italian-made models were also the basis of the "Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision" warranty relationship that certifies the absolute quality of the lenses in all the collections designed by Optimistic.

 

The entry into this market can count on a new collection of ten models created from in-depth research into design, comfort, details and innovative materials like "Grilamid" or traditional materials like cellulose acetate.
Most of the lenses in the collection are made of CR39 and continue the collaboration with "Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision".
