Always" is the brand philosophy conveyed in an original setting that expresses the intrinsic values of the eyewear brand
Earth, dust, coal. An alien landscape where a towering, seemingly abandoned post-industrial building gives the impression of an unfamiliar, mysterious space. This is the setting of Blackfin's new communication campaign entrusted again this year to the now consolidated experience with Nicola de Pellegrini's Anidride/Design Studio and photographer Giovanni De Sandre.
Standing out in this new and unusual scenario are the two main players – a man and a woman – who are captured by the camera as their movements are dominated by the drive to keep searching.
"Looking beyond. Always" is the brand philosophy conveyed in the choice of an original setting that expresses the intrinsic values of Blackfin eyewear. The entire campaign was shot at Enel Marghera, the historical power plant facing the Venice lagoon, where extremely industrial interiors alternate with the surreal external situations typical of an extreme environment representing Blackfin and its vitality.
The message of the 2014 ad campaign is one of pure strength: an unstoppable woman with a proud, profound expression, and a man animated by self-knowledge continually encounter the indomitable hardness of an environment to be explored, from which to draw joy and satisfaction in the awareness that victory is achieved only by looking beyond. Always.
